We have really enjoyed our visit to Legoland, but it is good to keep in mind that this theme park is geared more towards younger kids.

Renowned artisans spend weeks carving intricate sculptures and colossal ice slides, creating a dazzling icy spectacle. Visitors can stroll through a captivating indoor winter wonderland kept at a chilly 9 degrees Fahrenheit, marveling at scenes depicting holiday celebrations from around the globe.

Adding to the frosty experience is the stunning Frostbite Factory, a live carving zone offering a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of these icy masterpieces. Remember to bring mittens and hats to stay warm.

Our kids have really enjoyed doing 5k fun runs while we travel. The Santa Dash 5k is one of the great fun runs in the Orlando area. Participants dress as Santa or other fun Christmas-time characters.

Another fantastic holiday fun run the whole family will enjoy is the Run Tampa Tinsel Run which happens December 9th. The great part about the Tinsel Run is that the race is free.

Another fun holiday run that is December 16th is the Santa’s Run Fest For Our Kids. If you have not tried a holiday fun run or you do them every year, they are a great way to get out as a family or couple to enjoy the nice weather and friendly atmosphere. 

23. Visit the Light Up UCF Holiday Festival

The camp is very entertaining for little ones, with supervision for swimming, crafts, and even an area for those kids looking to play some video games.

This nonsmoking hotel has great restaurants that offer many different options to fit everyone’s dining needs. After a bit to eat, or if you want something lighter, you can chill at the poolside bar.

The property was stunning! The amenities were also amazing! We all loved the pool, there is also a movie every evening, and there is a cozy lounge area and a bar in the lobby. It was like being at a resort. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Service was pretty quick. I would definitely go back!
