Caladesi Island State Park offers one of the best beaches in Florida with blue water. It is just off the coast of Tampa and Honeymoon Island. It is like Honeymoon Island but with way fewer people. You have to take a ferry out to Caladesi Island, which limits the number of people you’ll be sharing the beach with.

There are great walking paths on the island, as well as beautiful beaches. We loved playing in the shallow water, enjoying the warm Clearwater ocean temperatures, and collecting shells on the beach. It’s also a great place for the kids to try flying beach kites!

If you’re looking for an excuse to get out of the sun, consider checking out Clearwater Marine Aquarium. A real treat for any kids crazy about marine life, this aquarium offers a really unique experience.
